Four Corners Championship Wrestling Southwest Tag Team Title Match:
The Maniac & The Butcher beat The Blackjacks.
(The Maniac & The Butcher retained the Four Corners Championship Wrestling Southwest Tag Team Title(s))
Rating: 100%
Match Notes: I think most people here expected the Blackjacks to finally put an end to Lewin and Vachon’s tear with the title. Sure Lewin and Vachon had beaten them before, but to the fans, that just meant that Lanza and Mulligan knew what to expect. The match was competitive and hard fought, but once again The Maniac and The Butcher managed to put away their opponents in the end.

Four Corners Championship Wrestling

Four Corners Championship Wrestling - July - 1965
Venue: US - Rural - Small Hall
Attendance: 3165 - 92%

Match 1:
Four Corners Championship Wrestling Wild West Title Match:
Stan Stasiak beat Bill Dundee.
(Stan Stasiak won the Four Corners Championship Wrestling Wild West Title(s))
Rating: 79%
Match Notes: Stasiak continues his winning ways, and also continues to avoid Bill Watts. Bill Dundee can’t meet the challenge of defending his Wild West belt, and Stasiak earns it for a 2nd time.

Match 2:
The Blackjacks beat The Tolos Bros…
Rating: 95%
Match Notes: The Blackjacks and the Tolos Bros. always have wild brawls when they step in the ring with one another, and tonight was no exception. They took the action all over the arena before Mulligan finally scored the pin on Chris Tolos.

Match 3:
Four Corners Championship Wrestling Southwest Tag Team Title Match:
Fuller & Son beat The Maniac & The Butcher.
(Fuller & Son won the Four Corners Championship Wrestling Southwest Tag Team Title(s))
Rating: 100%
Match Notes: Mark Lewin and Paul Vachon have been dominant champions, but that came to an end tonight in one of the best matches in the history of professional wrestling. The two teams really wore each other down, The Maniac and the Butcher with their brutish brawling, and The Fullers with their tremendous grasp of wrestling. In the end, the younger Fuller was able to apply the Fuller Leg Lock to Lewin and score a submission victory and the Southwest Tag Team titles.

Match 4:
Dick Murdoch beat Nelson Royal.
Rating: 97%
Match Notes: Dick Murdoch makes a successful debut against Nelson Royal. His vertical drop brainbuster finisher left a lot of fans in awe.

Match 5:
Four Corners Championship Wrestling Southwest Title Match:
Freddie Blassie beat Bill Watts.
(Freddie Blassie won the Four Corners Championship Wrestling Southwest Title(s))
Rating: 89%
Match Notes: As seems to be tradition here in FCCW, the former Wild West champion gets a Southwest Title shot the month following losing the title, and Freddie Blassie took full advantage of that, and the fact that Watts has been overly focused on Stan Stasiak. Blassie was able to best The Cowboy tonight, and this may just be the freeing up that Watts needs to fully realize his goal of getting his hands on Stan Stasiak.
