Jamesrah's Moves Showcase

Amazing stuff. By far, my favorite moves on here!

I’m having an issue with the Danielson Special. As soon as he applies it, he lets it go. I can’t figure out if I set something wrong or what.

#42

Thanks!

When you added it, did you add it as a move file, or load it as a bytes file and edit the move information yourself? Submission moves can be a little bit of a headache to load as bytes files, so I would advocate using the moves file instead.

If that doesn’t fix it, try restarting the game. if that still doesn’t work, let me know and I’ll investigate when I get home from work.

#43

This is also a good reminder that I need to get back to move creation. It’s been a while since I’ve posted something new.

#44

I did add it as a move. I also retried it today, and restarted the game. It still happens. I actually see it happens in the move preview, too.

#45

I honestly don’t know what it would be then. I just tried downloading and adding it to my game on a different computer and the submission part worked without issue. Couple of quick questions - Are you using 1.02 or 1.20? And did you put both the moves and bytes files in your New Moves folder?

If it continues to be a problem, then you’re probably going to need to manually edit the move in the New Move Import tool. Just make sure that you select “Submission Move?” at the bottom and under the “Other Data” tab, set Forms to Return to 3 and Return At to 22.

Wish I could be more help, but if I don’t see the issue on my end, it’s hard for me to identify. Has anyone else had problems with using this move?

#46

Thanks man! I had the move set to grapple move. Following your instructions solved it. Thanks again.

#47

Oh, that’s great. No problem!

#48

I was kicking around this one for a little bit, but made some adjustments on it this weekend. Snapmare Driver. It’s done like the Miz did it, but could stand in for Adam Rose’s Party Foul:

And another one from the requests thread, Alex Shelley’s Golden Gate Swing, a/k/a Spinning Fisherman’s Suplex:

Awesome! Thank you! I ll use for Elias’s Drift Away.

#51

Oh that’s great. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen an Elias match, so I didn’t realize that he used that move.

#52

Sorry…life has been a little busy of late, but I had a few things I’ve been working on that you may or may not have seen in the Discord server. Right now not all of them have the move files, but I will add them on as I finish:

UFO

Bell Clap

#53

All good, but UFO is incredible!

#54

So. I’m not real good with this mod stuff. Those look great. How can i add them to my Fire Pro?

#55

Happy to help, but where are you having problems? Installing mods in general, or adding custom moves?

#56

So i have…Carlzilla’s modpack. I don’t know what to do with…like if i wanted to download your Snapmare Driver…How do i do that and integrate that into the Carlzilla mod suite/pack?

#57

If you’re having issues getting the mod pack itself to run, you’d probably be better off checking the Guides & Theory section of this site. Or, you can head to the discord, where you can get help from people with more expertise than me.

To specifically install the moves I create, it’s pretty simple:

  1. Download the zip file containing the moves.
  2. Unzip the download and copy all of the files to the “New Moves” folder in your Fire Pro program folder. (There should be at least two files - a .moves file and at least one .bytes file.)
  3. Make sure you have the the “New Move Importer” active and patched within Carl’s mod pack.
  4. When you start the game, find the “New Move Import” window in the array of Mod windows.
  5. In the upper right corner of the New Move Import, click “Installed Moves”. This will bring up a new window.
  6. Click the “Import Move” button on the right of this new window.
  7. This should open a file window in your “New Moves” folder. Assuming you copied the moves and bytes files there (step #2), the move you want to install should be available.
  8. Click Ok. This will close the Import Move window and take you back to the main New Move Import window.
  9. At the bottom of the New Move Import window, click “Re-sort Moves”.
  10. Note: If you’re adding a Pinning or Submission Move, you will need to restart the game for the pinning or submission loop to work!

That should pretty much do it. Your move should be active in the game. If you don’t see it, you might need to go to the Main Menu for it to show up. You’ll also need to close the game at some point to officially add the move

Now one key thing - these steps are what you would need to do when someone includes a “.move” file. Many times people will just provide the “.bytes” file. If that happens, you should consult Bozo’s excellent guide here: [BOZO様] Basic .bytes Import Guide (1.02)

All right, a couple of new Samoa Joe moves I teased on the Discord earlier this week:

CCS Enzuigiri

Powerbomb Into Boston Crab

#59

A couple of Will Ospreay moves I worked up a while back. First, the Robinson Special:

And the Cheeky Nandos Kick. Note: This one is a Front Avalanche Reversal. At some point I might try to do a corner grapple version of this, but for now I like it in this move slot:

The robinson special looks sick.
