DOES NOT WORK WITH FIRE PROMOTOR UPDATE YET

1.0.2 VERSION HERE

Of course huge thanks to Carl for all his help on these mods.

Attire Extension

DO NOT USE CARL’S ENTRANCE ATTIRE WITH THIS MOD, IT WILL CAUSE SOME WEIRD RESULTS WITH ENTRANCE ATTIRES IN THIS MOD

ALSO IF YOU DELETE AN EDIT BEFORE USING THE FORM, ALWAYS REFRESH THE LIST IN THE FORM OR ELSE IT’LL THROW OFF THE ORDER AND THINGS WILL PROBABLY GET MESSED UP!

This mod allows you to import and export in-game attire to and from .cos files. All .cos files beginning with a wrestler’s name will then appear in a pop-up box when launching a match to select which attire you want to use (Cancel will use the default one you picked). Importing is mostly only for if you want to get the .cos files back into the game for editing them in the wrestler editor, if you’re using custom parts and want to be able to upload your wrestlers then just make sure that any custom parts are contained to the external .cos files rather than being an actual in-game attire. Then you can exchange the .cos files all you want (While giving fair warning of what custom parts are used. If they don’t have a part used it will just use the default attire) and they should work straight away by just dumping them in the /AceModsData/AttireExtension/ folder as long as the wrestler name in the file name matches.

For every one of your infinite .cos files, you can also assign an entrance attire. This is easily done in the little ‘Entrance Attire’ box and all you have to do is select the attire they’ll wear in the ring, then the entrance attire you want to use for that attire, then press save and it should be all done.

This has now been expanded to also work with referees and the search function now works properly. It also lists some details about the selected edit to better tell the difference.

Here’s a look at the UI:

This is what will come up after launching a match in order to pick an attire:

Animated Ring Parts

To set up animated aprons, you’ll need to create the image files for it (obviously). If you’re doing something like WWE LED apron textures, then I’d recommend ripping them from 2K18, chuckng them in Photoshop, making some kinda outline so the entire apron isn’t animated because then it doesn’t really look like an LED board, then export it as separate image files (You can set this up in Export Video or something). You’re gonna want to name it R for right aprons and if you’re not enabling the mirror option, it’s the same for left aprons except ‘R’ is ‘L’. You can check the examples, it’ll become quite easy to understand. Make sure they’re in /AceModsData/AnmAprons//.

It’s pretty much exactly the same for mats except you have to put _Mat in stead of _R or _L and it goes in /AceModsData/AnmMats//.

I’ve included an apron PSD template and two overlay templates (one with LED dots, one without) if you want to use those to create your own aprons.

You can set the specific settings for each ring in the form such as timing method (frames or seconds), right apron interval, left apron interval, and an option to mirror the right apron onto the left apron. If you want to use the same graphics for both, I’d recommend this as you won’t have to load the files twice.

In this version you’re now able to set your own overlays. To do this you just need to have the overlay in the same folder as the other textures of the same type and name it ‘_OverlayR’, ‘_OverlayL’ or ‘_Overlay’ for Right Apron Overlays, Left Apron Overlays and Mat Overlays respectively.

I’ve added some indicators to the UI so you can more easily tell if the aprons will be loaded correctly as well as a rectangle down the bottom that will display green or red depending on if the files will load for a match.

I’m kinda terrible at giving out detailed instructions like this so if you have any specific questions, I’ll be happy to answer them.

Here’s a look at the UI:

NOTE: If you’re not mirroring the aprons, there needs to be at least apron file per side or it won’t bother to load anything. If you don’t want the second one to be animated, just use a single image for it and it’ll stay on that image without animating.

Here’s two example clips. One is NXT and the other is my own promotion that has animated aprons AND mats. It’s just flashing purple colours because I was testing it and needed something easily visible.

Pre-Match Taunts

This update adds Pre Match Taunts. There is a form to select each wrestler’s pre match taunt and at the starts of a match, if both wrestlers have a pre match taunt assigned, they’ll do that taunt at the same time when the referee rings the bell.

The search function now works properly.

KO State

Quick update just to add a tiny optional feature of having the loser of a match go into the critical state after they’re defeated. It just a visual thing and if you don’t want it, just don’t patch it in. I probably won’t be using it, but it’s there if anyone wants it.

ONLY WORKS WHEN ELIMINATION IS TURNED OFF

NEW MOD: Entrance Stage Taunts

When this mod is active, wrestlers will perform their entrance taunts on the stage.

Is there a version of Attire Extension that adds referees for 1.02 or only for 2.0?

#3

There’s going to be, but there’s some bugs to work out.

UPDATE POSTED - 14/11/18 10pm AEST

NEW MOD: Entrance Stage Taunts

When this mod is active, wrestlers will perform their entrance taunts on the stage.

Fixes

  • Attire Extension will no longer spoil interfering wrestlers by bringing up the attire select screen on match launch.
  • Attire Extension entrance attires now work with Yurakuen Hall / Dojo entrances from Carl’s Mod Pack.

See the original post for the download link.

I see in the OP that there looks but you also made Raw and SmackDown Live animated aprons?

If so, would you be willing to share those, too? :eyes:

Yeah, no worries, I’ll get them zipped and uploaded when I get a chance.

This is great, thanks for the hard work. Do you now if it’s possible currently on 2.0+ to add a delay after the entrance theme hits but before the wrestler comes out? I like that your entrance taunt seems to extend the length of the entrances and am looking to further that.

Cheers

That was something I was actually working on at a point. That’ll most likely be in the next version (whenever that might be).

#10

Has anyone else mentioned that the attire extension mod isn’t working after the newest update?

#11

That’s what brought me here - just figured out it was Ace’s attire mod that was keeping my matches from loading/throwing a referee error. Any plans for an update Ace? I miss my unlimited attires. And sorry if this was addressed on Discord - haven’t made it there in weeks.

#12

I dont think Ace has been around for a bit. Hopefully all is good on his end and he’ll be back soon.

One of my favorite mods so looking forward to it bwing update!

Yeah, my mods don’t work with the Fire Promotor update just yet unfortunately (I added a bold message to the top of the first post).

I definitely plan to update the mods to the latest version though, I’ve just been a bit busy with work recently (and probably also a bit lazy tbh lol).

There will definitely be an update at some point though.
